“Weather” hit maker, Sista Afia has disclosed that she normally takes flight from Accra to Kumasi in the Ashanti Region just to eat Waakye.

According to the Ghanaian musician she has been doing this for some time now, adding she would be there next week just to eat Waakye and return.

Speaking on TV Africa on Tuesday Morning, the singer revealed that it costs her about GH₵800 in and out of Kumasi.

Revealing the reason she goes to Kumasi solely to eat Waakye, the music diva said it is as a result of a special joint.

Sista Afia added that the Waakye in Kumasi tastes so good, and that she finds it difficult to locate such a taste in Accra.
