Riohs Originate has set the pace as the first Ghanaian Fashion School to Start an online fashion design and illustration education in the country.

The initiative had its pilot during the initial phase of the Coronavirus pandemic with the 2020 batch who started the course in February 2020.

The students experienced 75 percent of online class 25 percent of physical class. The institution announced the roll-out of the full online class at the just ended 8th edition of Joie De Vivre which took place at Alliance Francaise in Accra.

Joie De Vivre is a show that provided students the platform to exhibit their creativity and confidence on a runway.

Management of Riohs Originate has indicated that new students wishing to learn Fashion Design and Illustration in 2021 should expect a 100 percent  online education as an option.

The novel initiative by the institution would give equal value to students that would go in for online education, having the opportunity to go through the Riohsexperience in the comfort of their homes, workplaces, and anywhere in the world. 

“We continue to adjust our plans for our current students, aiming to be more accommodating and adaptable in 2021 with an online education while still keeping to high standards. Our COVID-19 experience had shown us how to do better, students deserve nothing but the best from us,” Mr. Richard Ohene Sika, Talent Manager of Riohs Originate said.

Riohs Originate Company Limited is known for impacting the lives of many Ghanaians who have chosen Fashion Design as a career. The Company is credited and noted for starting the six months course in Fashion Design and Illustration in the country some 10 years ago.
