Satellites, Scorpions battle for U-20 title

Ghana Black Satellites will attempt to win their fourth Under-20 AFCON title when they face off with the Hippos of Uganda at the Olympic Stadium in Nouakchott tonight.
The Ghanaians accounted for a well-drilled Gambia Young Scorpions 1-0 to book their place for today’s final with free-kick expert Percious Boah scoring the only goal of the night on Monday.
Unlike the Satellites, the Scorpions – who are staging their debut, stunningly trampled on the highly fancied Young Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, crushing the north African side 4-1 in the other semi-final tie to set up an explosive final tonight.
The Ugandans will rely on the five-goal Police FC striker Derrick Kakooza, who bundled home a hat-trick against the Tunisians and could be deadly against the Satellites if let loose. On the reverse, Ghana’s three-goal Boah should also be a bother to the Uganda backline and it would be interesting to see how the two players perform on the day.
