The Sports Writers Association of Ghana (SWAG) will inaugurate its fifth branch in the Western Region today.

A delegation led by SWAG president Kwabena Yeboah will hold the event at the Naakof Hotel in Takoradi at 3.pm,

Dignitaries including the Western Regional Minister and GNPC Foundation boss, Moses Armah Parker of Medeama, Wilson Arthur of the Sky Group, among others, have been invited.

According to the General Secretary of SWAG, Osei Assibey, the Western Region will be the fifth branch after Volta, Ashanti, Bono, and Eastern.

The Northern, Upper West and Upper East Regions are expected to follow next.
