WACPS donates to Ghana School of Law

The West African Centre for Peace Studies (WACPS), a non-governmental organisation (NGO) dedicated to the promotion of peace, has presented an undisclosed amount of money to the Ghana School of Law (GSL) towards the renovation of the school.

The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of WACPS, Erasmus Ndemole Migyikra, presenting the donation to the Acting Director of the GSL, Mr Maxwell Opoku-Agyemang, said they were motivated by the immense contributions the school had made to the betterment of society.

Mr Migyikra urged other organisations, as part of their corporate social responsibility, to support the school carry out its mission of educating lawyers.

Mr Opoku-Agyemang on his part thanked Mr Migyikra for the gesture and assured that it would be put to good use.

He stated that law is the foundation for peace and development.

Mr Opoku-Agyemang assured WACPS that GSL would continue to cooperate with other organisations to ensure that peace was promoted and preserved at all times.

Those present at the ceremony included members of the organisation and some staff of the school.
