A lot has changed for me affer winning AMCA 2 years ago- Gloria Sarfo

Renowned Ghanaian actress, Glorai Sarfo has revealed that winning an award at African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards two years ago has changed a lot for her.

Gloria Sarfo was in 2020 won the Best Supporting Actress Award at the African Magic Viewers’ Choice Awards (AMVCA) for her role in Shirley Frimping Manso’s ‘Perfect Picture: 10 Years Later’.

According to Gloria Sarfo, after winning the award she felt a veil had been taken off her head.

Speaking to Berla Mundi on TV3 Gloria Sarfo said the award came at a point in her career where she felt there was a veil on her.

For this reason Gloria Sarfo revealed that on 31st December, 2019, prayed and asked God to lift the veil and announce her to the world.

Luckily for her, in the ensuing year, her prayer was answered in style, when they announced her as the winner of Best Supporting Actress AMVCA.

She said since then, a lot of endorsement deals and movie roles have come her way, adding that Shirley Frimpong Manso who was behind the Perfect Picture, has continued to feature her in all her productions.
