All Saint Anglican Church to hold fundraising on Sunday
The All Saint Anglican Church in Takoradi in the Western Region is to hold a fundraising ceremony on Sunday targeted for the completion of the new church building which is currently 60 per cent complete.
Prominent personalities such as Parliamentarians, Ministers, Chief Executives, Corporate Organisations and Traditional Rulers are expected to grace the fundraising ceremony.
Rev. Father Moses Cudjoe, the Priest in charge of the church, in a sermon over the weekend, charged the congregation to rise and build the church.
According to him, that was the only sacrifice, honour and gratitude mankind could offer to God.
Referring to the Book of Luke 19 v 1-10, Rev Cudjoe noted that the contributions of the congregation towards the building of the church would open the door for God’s blessings in their lives.
“I would like you to know that your contributions towards the building of the new church were important as it would open the door of God’s blessings in your lives”, he said.
