Anfoega Youth Association supports Catholic Hospital

The Anfoega Youth Association has donated Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to the Anfoega Catholic Hospital in the North Dayi District in the Volta Region.

The donation was made to the hospital to combat the COVID-19 pandemic. The items worth GH₵24,000 included hand sanitisers, gun boots, surgical face masks, theatre caps among others.

The association appealed to other organisations to support the initiative to help improve the health sector which is at the forefront of fighting the pandemic.

According to the association, it was very necessary to provide some support for the hospital to provide quality health care to patients in the facility as a means of containing the spread of COVID-19.

Togbe Kumato II presented the items on behalf of the youth and was received by Mr Williams Ladzaka, Administrator of the hospital.

Mr Ladzaka pledged the items would be used for its intended purpose, and further appealed to the association to support the hospital with medical equipment to help furnish its newly constructed accident centre.
