News reaching thespectatoronline.com indicates that Ghanaiann International, Christian Atsu has been found dead.

This was  confirmed by Atsu’s agent after about 11 days of search for the players whereabouts following an earthquake in Turkey.

Confirming the news Christian Atsu’s Turkish agent,Murat Uzunmehmet tweeted,

“We found Atsu. He lost his life. Sorry for your loss.”

Atsu played for various European clubs, such as Chelsea, FC Porto, Newcastle United, Everton, and Bournemouth.
He joined Hatayaspor in September of last year, and just hours before the natural disaster that led to his untimely demise, he scored his first goal for the club on Sunday, February 5.
