Celestine Donkor speaks ahead of concert
Ghanaian gospel artiste and songwriter, Celestine Donkor is yet to host the 10th edition of her annual gospel concert, “Celestial Praiz” which is set for March 6, 2023, at Victory Bible Church (Dominion Sanctuary) in Accra.
The aim of the concert is to provide platform for Christians, ministers of God and gospel music lovers to have a fulfilled praise and worship time with their Creator.
This year’s event which marks 10th edition is scheduled to commence at 4pm.
The concert will be used to celebrate Celestine Donkor’s achievements on the gospel music scene and also to create the opportunity for other gospel acts to showcase their musical talents on one platform.
The ‘Agbebolo hitmaker’ recounted in an interview with The Spectator Agoro about how she used to struggle to write songs earlier in her career.
“It became a first prayer topic on my list, I remember how I used to wait for God to answer my prayer I was able to write my own songs after an encounter I had in a dream” she stated.
“It is 10 years and I can not wait to celebrate this edition with you all” he tweeted and said she is doing this with some other great gospel musicians like; Obaapa Christy, Piesie Esther, M.O.G and Nana Yaw Asare.
Other artistes are Jervis Dzokoto, Irene Logan, Evelyn Wanjiru (kenya) and Enkay Ogboruche from Nigeria.
According to Celestine Donkor, she would be launching and selling “BEYOND THE RHYTHM” a book she co -authored with her husband about their life story, at the event.
She further urged all fans to come and support her ministry
