Covenant House Chapel celebrates 25th Anniversary, ordains 7new pastors

The Covenant House Chapel in the Obuasi Municipality celebrated its 25th Anniversary Celebration with impressive ordination of seven pastors of the church into priesthood at a ceremony that was witnessed by families, friends, Bishops and Reverend Ministers of the gospel and church members.

The seven ordained pastors include Pastor Evans Quansah, Pastor John Esson, Pastor Ing. Eric Ofori Broni and Pastor Alfred Abeka – Sakyi.

The rest are Pastor Emmanuel Prince Amartey, Pastor Ben MacCarthy Mensah and Lady Pastor Mrs Emelia Amoako.

Bishop Hansel Adjei – Frimpong of Fruitful Family International Ministry, Accra, in a sermon, urged the new pastors to be steadfast and remain faithful to God in the discharge of their spiritual duties, adding that they must live exemplary lives and submit themselves to authority.

Apostle George Kingsley Amoako, Head of Covenant House Chapel, also urged the pastors to align themselves with the Lord and be disciplined at all times.

Mr Elijah Adansi Bonah, the Obuasi Municipal Chief Executive who spoke on behalf of the Obuasi East District Chief Executive, Madam Faustina Amissah, congratulated the Chapel for its successful 25 years of service to God and mankind.

The ceremony was supported by Bishop Dr Oppong Adu – Gyamfi of International Charismatic Church, Accra, Rev Sylvanus Adjei Brown of ICGC, Shiloh Temple, Obuasi, and Bishop Dr Elvis Kesse, Victory Bible Church, Obuasi.
