Daniel Agyin eyes Ingoma Awards

Gospel artiste, Daniel Agyin, known widely in music circles as Goldmann has been nominated for the Best African Gospel Artiste in this year’s  Independent National Gospel Music Awards ( INGOMA) would be held in Greemtone Johannesburg on August 27.

The annual awards is focused on exposing, promoting, and celebrating the works and talents of rising African gospel music artistes.

Goldmann, who has been nominated for the Best African Gospel Artiste is competing with the likes of Jean Mar T (DR Congo), Chengetai B (Zimbabwe) and Evangelist Peter from Nigeria in the category.

In an interview with The Spectator, the ‘Nyame Adom’ hitmaker said he is very excited about his nomination and added that he was also on the cover of the June 2022 edition of the official magazine for the Gospel Choice Music Awards(GCMA) XChange Awards.

“I am the first African Gospel artiste to enjoy this honour and I’m grateful to God this achievement since it will help me sustain my credibility and brand in the industry,”  Goldmann added.

The ‘Ayeyi ndwom’ hitmaker explained that this year seems to be a double portion for his ministry and pleaded with fans around the world and particularly in Ghana to vote for him to win his category.

 Goldman is mostly in Ghana to promote his music which has earned some awards in Ghana. Some of his songs are ‘Ayeyi ndwom’, ‘Asem’ and ‘Nyame Adom’.

In 2019 for instance, he was adjudged the Best Song Writer of the Year and Male Vocalist of the Year at the Ghana National Gospel Music Awards.
