Dutch Export Academy to train entrepreneurs, exporters to European market

The fourth edition of the Dutch Export Academy (DEA), a thorough training pro­gramme created for Ghanaian ex­porters and entrepreneurs wishing to increase their exports or begin exporting their goods from Ghana to the EU market, is set to begin in February, 2023.

The Dutch Export Academy, an initiative for business owners and exporters to benefit from the EU through the export of high-qual­ity goods was announced by the Ghana Netherlands Business and Cultural Council (GNBCC) in part­nership with MDF West Africa.

The training curriculum covers important topics including EU Export Processes and Documenta­tion, Export Planning, Certification and Practicalities of Export, Export Finance, Product Packaging, of and Branding.

There will also be a research trip to the Netherlands in April 2023, in addition to the workshops.

The programme is one of several value-added initiatives the Dutch government has put in place to support Ghana’s “Ghana Beyond Aid” policy to promote the devel­opment of the private sector.
