ENO series, a reflection of disagreements in homes – Gloria Sarfo

Lead character, Gloria Osei Sarfo has said that the ENO series showing on African streaming serviceShowmax Original is a reflection of disagreements families have been dealing with in various homes.

The 13-episode drama series called ‘ENO’ follows Abena Baafi, a single mother who is determined to meddle in her three daughters’ lives by steering them towards the path of rich suitors.

However, her ‘girls’ have a mind of their own and soon a mother’s dream becomes a daughter’s nightmare.

According to her, the must watch family series which tells stories of differences in mothers and daughters goals.

Speaking to The Spectator, at the Watch Party which took place last Sunday at MultiChoice Ghana office at Abelenkpe, she said mostly, there were disagreement as to which direction a daugther should go in searching of a life partner.

According to her, some mothers looked at social standings of the men they wanted to see their daugthers be with, whereas most children concentrated on genuine affection for people they wanted to be with.

“These diffrences in focus leads to unresolved quarells which creates issues in homes, and my role teaches a lot of things, which I want others to learn,” she said.

Gloria Sarfo plays the role of Abena, an ambitious mother to three beautiful daugthers who will do anything to see them settle with the most eligible bachelors in the city.

The Managing Director (MD) of Multichoice, Mr. Alex Okyere said they could boast of variety of award winning contents since Showmax was launched in Ghana.

He said that they had offered content creators the opportunity to monetise their content for a living, adding that in 2019, they adopted a strategy to support the local film industry in the countries they operated in.

Kennedy Dankyi, Channel Head of Akwaaba Magic expressed his appreciation to Shirley Frimpong Manso for the support, revealing that in May, they would launch Akwaaba Magic Abusua to offer great Ghanaian entertainment for the mass market.

The Producer and Director, Ken Attoh and Shirley Frimpong Manso, were appreciating the support in producing an exceptional Ghanaian series, Eno.
