Ghanaian popular actor, John Dumelo has proudly told Ghanaians to eat rice that are produced in Ghana. The actor who is now a celebrated and successful farmer has been farming for sometime now and he has also been encouraging Ghanaians to go into farming as well.

Aside educating and enlightening the youths and the aged about the importance of farming and encouraging them to join, he is also encouraging people to eat locally produced rice.

John Dumelo who is also a politician and an active farmer took to his Facebook platform to encourage Ghanaians to eat the rice that is produced in Ghana. He revealed that, he bought some locally made rice from Lolobi/Akpafu in the Guan district and the rice actually tastes good.

He went ahead to ask for the reason why Ghanaians don’t like locally produced rice and why the prefer foreign ones. His statements and questions clearly implies that, Ghanaians should go in for the locally produced rice because it tastes good.
