Lasmid has left Highly Spiritual Music…Kaywa breaks silence

Renowned Ghanaian producer and founder of Highly Spiritual Music, David Kwadwo Kyei, known in showbiz circles as Kaywa has confirmed that Lasmid has left the label.
Confirming the news to Any Dosty on Adom TV’s Showtym programme, Kaywa, who is also a prophet said Lasmid is no more with him, but went further to say he does not want to disclose every detail of the matter.
He told Andy Dosty that the label has had back-and-forth discussions with Lasmid but to no avail.
According to him, The conversation with Lasmid has been back-and-forth but it was way before Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
Kaywa further disclosed that “Lasmid started trumpeting ‘I want to go, I want to go’ a long time ago. There is a back story but I wouldn’t wanna make it public.”
The award-winning Audio Engineer noted that at the right time, the entire truth would be out to bring clarity to the brouhaha.
Lasmid’s exit sharply follows that of his former label mate, Mr.Drew a few weeks ago after his contract with Highly Spiritual ended.
Kaywa started the record label, Highly Spiritual in 2017 and has since produced hitmakers like Kurl Songs, Yaw Berk, Krymi, and King Maaga, who have all since exited.
Lasmid was adjudged Best New Artiste at the just-ended VGMA.
