• Lettuce salad
Lettuce is a leafy vegetable usually used in making salads and sandwiches. It can be grouped into four categories known as crisphead, butterhead, loose-leaf and romaine.
Lettuce helps in the prevention of cancer and eases anxiety and stress. It also contains antioxidants which help to bring down inflammation.
1 large tomato (chopped)
1 small cucumber (chopped)
¼ of a small onion (thinly sliced)
1 small carrot (grated)
A pinch of salt
Salad cream (optional)
• Rinse and chop some lettuce into a bowl.
• Add the chopped cucumber, onion and grated carrot and mix together.
• Add a pinch of salt and mix well. You can use a fork or spoon to mix it.
• Add salad cream and mix.
• Keep it in the fridge for a little while and serve.
