Little Tulip Montessori students donate food items and money to Good Shepherd Child Care Home

Students of Little Tulip Montessori Learning Centre (LTMLC) located at Ofankor 7days in Accra on Thursday donated food items and an undisclosed amount of money to the Good Shepherd Child Care Home at Kasoa-ofankor in the Awutu-Senya district.

The items included tubers of yam, bags of water, clothes, assorted drinks and an undisclosed amount of money.

The donation was through its charity organisation, Little Tulip Foundation which seeks to provide essential resources and support to underprivileged people.

Presenting the items to the home, Chief Executive Officer of LTMLC Mr Emmauel Kofi Boateng said the gesture was aimed at improving the quality of life for underprivileged children.

 He said the mission of the organisation was to create positive change by touching lives and improving the quality of life for them.

Mr Boateng further explained that since the inception of the foundation it has 

focused on providing educational materials and other transformative initiatives for the needy.

The Coordinating Director of the Home, Reverend Nimako Boateng on his part, thanked the LTMF and the school for the kind gesture.

Additionally, he further called on all and sundry to support the home as they had several challenges with regard to food supplies, utilities and accommodation among other things.
