New Patriotic Party’s Member of Parliament for Ayawaso West Wuogon, Lydia Seyram Alhassan who retained her seat has dedicated it to the memory of late husband.

Her late husband, Emmanuel Kyeremateng Agyarko who was the Member of Parliament for the Constituency passed away two years ago.

In her interview after she was certified as the winner, Lydia Alhassan expressed her gratitude to her team and promised to work together with the NDC candidate, John Dumelo.

She said her next term would be dedicated to infrastructure development among others.

Lydia Alhassan garnered 39,851 votes as against John Dumelo’s 37,778.
