● The road is now in good shape

I am writing to commend the government and specifically the Coastal Development Authority (CODA) on the good initiative taken with regard to massive road work done on the school junction – Salem stretch.
The mandate of CODA is to accelerate economic and social development in the coastal development zone through strategic development projects and the mobilisation of both public and private resources.
The Malejor-Salem Estate road which was in deplorable state years ago made movement on the stretch difficult for residents. Drivers and Okada riders were not willing to use the road.
Vehicle owners do complain that their cars get faulty anytime they used the road and there was delayed movement on the stretch.
Recently, there has been a great road work on the school junction-Salem Estate road which I think is making life easier for residents.
This new project has reduced the cloud of dust on the road and I hope they extend this great work to other parts of the country.
