The governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) has opened nominations for aspiring Presidential candidates to file for nominations.
 
In a statement signed by the General Secretary of the party, Justin Kodua Frimpong, the nomination forms would be ready for the aspirants to pick from tomorrow, Friday, May 26, 2023.

The party has pegged the nomination fees at GHȼ50,000.

Aspirants have been directed to pick up nomination forms from the office of the General Secretary at the party’s headquarters in Asylum Down, Accra, from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm on Monday to Friday.
Nominations will be open for almost a month and close on Saturday, June 24, 2023.
According to the statement, this is pursuant to the National Council timelines, and the party is committed to a free, fair, transparent, and peaceful presidential primary.
