 It was an atmosphere filled with ex­citement at the Silver Star Tower in Accra as disc jockeys who have proved their mettle on the turntables over the period under review were honoured.

The scheme honoured the best DJs, popular songs, as well as the industry’s icons, mixtapes and the personalities.

Patrons enjoyed stunning perfor­mances from many musicians, including a surprise by the new sensation ‘Soja’ hitmaker Black Sheriff.

On the night, DJ Vyrusky made histo­ry by winning Best DJ of the Year for the fifth time.

Ghana DJ Awards was founded by Hitz FM’s Merqury in 2012 to ensure that the hard work of DJs does not go unnoticed.
