Police arrest one person in connection with the murder of Adu Boahen’s son

Police has arrested one person in connection with the murder of Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen, son of the late Presidential Candidate of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Professor Albert Adu Boahen.

In a statement signed by Assistant Commissioner of Police, Director, Public Affiars, Grace Ansah- Akrofi, the Ghana Police Service has today, March 19, 2024, arrested suspect Mark
Forson in connection with the murder of Dr. Christopher Adu Boahen in Accra.

According to them on March 17, 2024, the police received a complaint from some relations of the deceased that he had been found dead in his room under suspicious circumstances.

The statement added that a team of Police investigators and crime scene experts immediately visited the scene to commence investigation leading to the arrest of the suspect.

The suspect is in custody and will be put before court whilst investigations continue.

According to reports, armed robbers attacked and killed Dr. Adu Boahen, a physically challenged at his residence in East Legon, a suburb of Accra.
