Remain resolute …Oppong Nkrumah tells NTC staff on Chocolate Day visit

 The Minister of Informa­tion, Mr Kojo Oppong-Nk­rumah has called on Ghanaians to work hard in the face of the numerous chal­lenges facing the country.

Interacting with the man­agement and editorial staff of the New Times Corporation (NTC) during a surprise visit to the corporation to mark Chocolate Day, he urged all and sundry to work hard in the country’s economic re­covery programme in order to put the economy on a sound footing.

The minister used the occasion to share some chocolate products with the editorial staff and urged them to remain resolute in the face of daunting difficulties for which the corporation was not isolated.

He assured that the board and management would col­laborate to turn the fortunes of the corporation around to enable it to make the needed gains.

The Editor of the Ghanaian Times, Mr David Agbenu, on behalf of management and staff, thanked the minister for the gesture.

The Acting Editor of The Spectator, Mrs Georgina Quaittoo, received the choco­lates on behalf of the editori­al staff.

The Minister was accom­panied by Mr Mawuli Segbefia, Director of Policy Planning, Budget and Monetory Evalua­tion and Kweku Obeng, Public Relations Manager among others.
