Shocking: Man finds his picture on obituary poster …threatens to sue family of deceased

● The funeral was postponed due to the error

This world is full of uncertainties as a man finds his picture being used as obituary poster instead of his dead friend’s correct picture.

As a result of this blunder, funeral scheduled for January 20 this year at Sikaman near New Edubiase in the Ashanti Region, had to be postponed indefinitely.

Osofo Emmanuel whose picture was on the funeral posters has threatened to sue the “offenders”.

In a telephone conversation with The Spectator, the aggrieved party said he would take a legal action against the family for using his picture as a dead person.

“I can’t just understand why the family had to use my picture for an obituary poster. I am, therefore, seeking redress at the court of law,” he indicated.

The deceased Kwankye Job, was said to have had a striking resemblance to Osofo Emmanuel.

Interestingly, the deceased’s family claimed that Job was a friend of Emmanuel and that the picture was found in his (deceased) things.

A family member who wants to remain anonymous said it was a mistake on their part to have used the picture of Osofo Emmanuel for the obituary poster because their late family member looked much like him.

The family is, however, pleading with the pastor to let the matter be settled amicably for the funeral to come off
