The Office of the Special Prosecutor (OSP) in Ghana and the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI)in the United States of America have joined forces to investigate former Sanitation and Water Resources Minister, Cecilia Dapaah.

The two bodies have initiated concurrent inquiries into the activities of Cecilia Abena Dapaah, and her associates.

This was revealed in a tweet by the Office of Special Prosecutor.

It was indicated that these investigations will primarily focus on examining their assets and financial transactions within the United States of America.

According to the OSP, this collaborative effort is to ascertain the lawfulness of Ms. Dapaah and her associates’ wealth, both in the context of their funds transitioning from Ghana to the United States and vice versa.
