Stephen Amoah replaces the late John Kumah as Deputy Minister of Finance

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has re-assigned the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry and Member of Parliament (MP) for Nhyiaeso in the Ashanti region.

The MP, Stephen Amoah, has now replaced the late former MP for Ejisu, John Kumah as the Deputy Minister for Finance.

Stephen Amoah, until his
re-designation was the Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry.

The late John Kumah untimely passed away on March 7, 2024.

Following the re-assignment of Stephen Amoah as Deputy Minister for Finance, President Akufo-Addo has appointed, subject to parliamentary approval, Kofi Ahenkorah Marfo, MP for Achiase, as Deputy Minister-designate for Trade and Industry.

The President is hopeful that Parliament will, once again, on a bi-partisan basis, expedite the approval of his nominee so he can join the
Government and assist in the delivery of his mandate for his second term in office.
