Till Deaf Do Us Part: Kobi Rana did a marvelous job-Kalybos

Actor, Richard Asante popularly known as Kalybos has showered praises on movie maker, Kobi Rana for a good job done on his latest movie.

Kobi Rana is currently out with a new movie titled, “Till Deaf Do Us part” a beautiful romantic comedy movie in sign language.

Speaking to Thespectatoronline.com, Kalybos said, the director of the movie, Kobby Rana did a marvelous job.

He said, “The movie is dialogue and action, and the dialogue is in signs, the acting had to do with body gestures, and I must say it was very challenging, but I love the role and the writing.”

Kalybos revealed that it is a masterpiece that everyone must watch, adding this new movie has what it takes to erase the wrong impression about Ghanaian movies, and could rob shoulders with other global productions.

Narrating how his new role was, Kalybos said, “Among all roles I have played in movies, this was the most challenging one because of the sign language that had to be merged with the dialogues.”

He said it was not the usual comedy role, but it’s all part of the move to take on other challenging roles to show other sides of Kalybos in his quest to explore other genres in acting.

The ‘Till Deaf Do Us Part’ movie shows simultaneously today at Aiport View Hotel(Accra), Vienna City (Tema), Crown Liberty Hotel(Weija), SG Mall(Kumasi), Bernard Grills(Tamale), Eusbette Hotel (Sunyani), KTU Abba Bentil(Koforidua), Flip Bar(Akropong), and TTU Auditorium (Takoradi), from 6, 8 and 10 pm.

The movie also featured Kafui Danku, Fella Makafui, Roselyn Ngissah and Roselyn Felli among others
