Traffic lights on Ablekuma stretch need attention

Traffic lights on Ablekuma stretch need attention

• A collapsed railguard on the stretch

There is danger looming at Ablekuma Pentecost Junction where a hanging traffic light has seemingly become an obstacle to pedestrians using the pavement.

According to the people in the area, the two vertical posts supporting the traffic lights overhead, had been hit by a car for a while now. This has caused the horizontal part with the traffic lights to hang loosely on the pavement thus endangering the lives of pedestrians.

Aside this, some of the solar panels within that same area are malfunctioned, thus affecting most traffic lights. This has affected the proper vehicular flow of traffic in the vicinity.

Again, some sellers have encroached the middle pavement on the road with their wares. Pedestrians are, therefore, appealing to the authorities to fix these malfunctioned traffic lights urgently.
