Ghanaians will experience a reduction in transportation fares from Saturday, August 1.

Transport fares are set to reduce by 10 percent after operators were allowed to operate at full capacity.

This was disclosed after the stakeholders in the transport sector held a meeting with the Transport Ministry.

The Ghana Private Road Transport Union (GPRTU), has promised to reach out to the various local authorities to ensure full implementation of the new directive.
