The Electoral Commission has made changes to final phase of the Voter Registration Exercise following the declaration of Friday as a public holiday to pave way for the celebration of Eid Al-Adha.
Against this backdrop, the final phase will commence on Saturday, August 1, 2020.
In view of this, the exercise is expected to end on Thursday August 6, 2020.
According to the Electoral Commission in an earlier statement, the various registration centres would be published in the Thursday edition of the Ghanaian Times, Daily Graphic, Daily Guide and Business and Financial Times newspapers.
The EC stipulated that “The general public should note that once the registration is taking place in their electoral area they qualify to register at the centre.”
The commission encouraged all Ghanaians to take note of the announcement and act accordingly.
