Wear Ghana Ambassador calls on GTP

The Wear Ghana Ambassador, Ms Brandina Djagba, affectionately called Mama Africa and her management team have paid a courtesy call on the Management of GTP, the number one local textile printing company in Ghana.

They were received by the Marketing Director, Rev. Steve Badu and Mr. Cecil Chinery, the Sales Director.

Reacting to the appointment, Rev. Badu congratulated “Mama Africa” on her appointment and assured her and the management team of GTP’s support in diverse ways and admonished her to be an Ambassador worthy of emulation.

Discussions were held between the two parties as they looked into the future in the area of promotion of both brands and close collaboration with  the National Commission on Culture.

They were optimistic that this partnership would go a long way to benefit the country in view of its economic potential .

This comes on the heels of the National Commission on Culture’s appointment of Ms Djagba as the Wear Ghana Ambassador.

The appointment letter read, “The Commission has been monitoring your enthusiasm in wearing and promoting made in Ghana products. We deem it a great honour to make you the prominent female Ambassador for Wear Ghana.”

The National Commission on Culture is a government organisation whose core mandate and vision is to respect, preserve, harness and use cultural heritage and resources to develop a united, vibrant and a prosperous national community with a distinctive African identity, personality, collective confidence and pride of place among the comity of nations.

The appointment of Ms Brandina Djagba as the Wear Ghana Female Ambassador comes at a time when the Government in consultation with the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture (MOTAC) is gradually easing restrictions in the Tourism, Travel and Hospitality industry.

The Management Team included Mr Kofi Atta Kakra Kusi of the Ghana Tourism Authority, Mr Benjamin Kwadey, Filmmaker and Founder of Benfrank Entertainment House Productions, Selorm Dzidzienyo, CEO of Kellyvat Travel and Tours Agency and Mr Nathaniel Okoe Tettey, CEO of Strategic Images and an Influencer.
