Xorlasi Tordzeagbo crowned Miss Ghana 2022

It was all excitement laced with some emotions as teacher and a native of Battor, in the Volta Region of Ghana, Miriam Xorlasi Tordzeagbo was adjudged winner of the 65th edition of oldest beauty pageant in the country, Miss Ghana.

The event held at the Avenue Event Centre by Unique Floral on Sunday, August 14, 2022, brought family, loved ones and many creative arts industry players together.

The Miss Ghana Contest commenced with 16 young ladies from all the 16 regions of Ghana.

At the end of weeks of various tasks laced with eloquence and passion to touch lives, 22-year-old Miriam Xorlasi Tordzeagbo stood tall amongst her peers as she took home the coveted crown at the grand finale.

On the night, Rocklyn Krampah was the 1st runner-up while Irene Vanessa Vifah also occupied the 2nd runner-up position.

As part of the package, the winner, Miriam Xorlasi Tordzeagbo will represent Ghana at the forthcoming Miss World 2023 beauty pageant in  addition to an official car, a year volunteering with Exclusive Events Ghana with Miss Ghana Foundation, a year of Platinum Gym membership at Pippa’s Health Centre and some souvenirs from sponsors.

She revealed that the focus of her project would be on the sickaged who were mostly neglected by society and family members.
