2 Ghanaian scholars honoured at JAGILS awards  in Virginia

Professors Edward Atuahene and Prince K. Mensah, both visiting scholars at the JacobsAbbey Global Institute for Leadership Studies (JAGILS), have been honoured in Virginia, USA, for their exceptional teaching skills. They were honoured at the 2021 Jacobs-Abbey Global Institute for Leadership Studies annual fundraising dinner and awards gala for providing guidance to students during the Executive Strategic Leadership Masterclass.

The citation for Professor Atuahene reads: In recognition of your accounting education from a demonstrated excellence in teaching and/ or endeavours in research or a sustained period through excellence in teaching, educational, innovations and publications, guidance for students, and involvement on professional and economic in societies and activities.

The citation for Professor K. Mensah also reads: ‘In recognition of your excellence in providing students with an inspirational approach to conflict resolutions and negotiations, generating students enthusiasm and creating effective approaches to learning by initiating and coordinating the intergration of theory and practical classes in Executive Strategic Leadership Professor Edward Atuahne and Professor Prince K Mensah were both Old Students of Adisadel College and members of the Adisadel Old Boys Association North America Chapter.
