Be thankful to God in all situations – Bishop urges NTC staff

• Bishop Michael Quartey delivering a sermon

Bishop Mike Quartey, Regional Overseer of Perez Chapel, has urged members of the New Times Corporation (NTC) to be thankful to God and also their colleagues for whatever situations they may find themselves in.

According to him, the attitude of thanksgiving was a sign of appreciation and being thankful was key to happiness and contentment in life.

Quoting from Luke 17: 12-17 with emphasis on verse 15 “one of them, when he saw he was healed, came back praising God in a loud voice,” he urged staff of the Corporation to develop a habit of Thanksgiving.

Bishop Quartey stressed that being “thankful improves one’s health because it insulates him or her from anxiety and covetousness.”

“Also, thanksgiving improves our relationship with God and a fellow human being. Anybody who is not thankful is not successful because thanksgiving is a vehicle to our next level in life,’ he added.

The Managing Director of New Times Corporation, Mr. Martin Adu also conveyed a message to the members of staff. According to him, the year 2022 will always be a blast from the past to some Ghanaians.

He said it was a tough year yet we thank God for taking us through the year successfully and encouraged thestaff to work expeditiously this year to make the corporation a unique entity.
