DSL preaches peace and truth in ‘Back To The Roots’ EP

Fast-rising Ghanaian reggae/dancehall musician,  Lawrence Senyo Adiase, known in private life as DSL has sent a message of peace and truth in his new Extended Play, EP.

The Reggae EP, dubbed ‘Back To The Roots’ is made up of four songs, Truth, Tell I How (Symphony Riddim), Going Down, and I’m High.

Speaking to Thespectatoronline.com at an exclusive listening session before the release today, DSL said the recording journey has been amazing, and had always wanted to deliver a message through his song.

According to him, she strongly  believes that Christians should not always be marching to war, “like onward Christian soldiers marching to war, as we are Christians, we should always be marching towards peace.”

He urged Christians to preach and practise peaceful co-existence in all their endeavours for a better world.

He added that one of his songs, ‘Tell I How’, tells the story of how Preachers and teachers always “tell us when you do this, you’ll go to heaven, do this and do that. In my father’s house, there are many mansions, we do good, but we are still suffering, what have we done.”

Against this backdrop he said, the people must be told the truth in all situations so they can be calm and at peace with each other.

DSL noted that a world made of peace and truth will suppress all evil and enhance comfortable living for all.

He concluded by urging his fans to go and stream ‘ Back To The Roots’, EP.

The EP was produced by Richie Mensah, Afroharmony Band, Raindrops, and Mr. Logic.
