Market your craft, be honest with clients …fashion graduates advised

President of the Ghana Tennis Federation, Mr Isaac Aboagye Duah, has advised graduands of the Morrez Fashion Academy (MOFACA), to be serious with their enterprise as that would help strengthen their relationship with their clients.

Speaking at the second edition of the MOFACA Graduate Show in Accra last Saturday, he urged the trainees to market their businesses on social platforms and come up with innovative ideas for their outfits.

He said showcasing their works through the right social media channels would enable them get the needed recognition and go a long way to help reduce the unemployment rate amongst the youth.

“Get closer to the people in your church, your old mates in high school and even your cousins at home. By so doing, they can refer your crafts to other contacts thereby giving you a larger clientele base,” he said.

Founder of the fashion academy, Mr Daniel Morisson, stated that his academy had been engaged in a couple of activities such as a market tour, community training and others at Nkoranza and acknowledged the support of students and partners towards the growth of the institution.

Themed “Promoting Creativity in the Fashion Industry”, the event saw both continuing students and graduands exhibit their collections and were presented with certificates upon successful completion of their courses.
