A Life Patron of the New Juaben North Constituency Physically Challenged Association, Nana Osei Adjei last weekend declared his intentions to contest the upcoming NPP Parliamentary Primaries in the area.
He made the declaration when he dined with the children of the Akwadum Christian Village, an Orphanage Home in the New Juaben North of the Eastern Region.
The programme formed part of his birthday celebration as he shared the little he has with the less privileged, giving them hope that “God is still in control of their lives.”
According to him, the unprecedented pace set by President Akufo-Addo needed not be eroded hence his decision to “come and continue for posterity.”
“NPP will break the 8 (eight) agenda and continue to leave legacy for the up and coming youth” he stated.
He aims to ensure the well-being of children, the youth and the vulnerable in the society, and empower them to contribute to the development of the country.
He advised parents to stop hiding their disabled children because some of them possessed exceptional abilities which nobody could tell.
Nana Osei Adjei distributed both cooked and raw food items worth thousands of Ghana cedis and pledged to construct a modern dining hall, renovate the children’s urinal, and also contact friends to assist the children live better lives.
The Assistant Administrator of the Orphanage, Miss Judith Ahamah Jefah , received the items and thanked Nana Osei Adjei for the gesture and appealed for more since they mostly live on donations.
