Nations FC host Gold Stars

Debutant Nations FC will hope to keep the chase on leaders Samartex FC in the Ghana Premier League (GPL) when they clash with Bibiani Gold Stars at the Dr Kwame Kyei Sports Complex today.

Nations FC dropped valuable points in their last two games, drawing one and losing the other to create a five-point gap between the top two.

However, the latest blip has done some damage to their dreams but Coach Kassim Ocansey Mingle is not giving up; he believes the title will be theirs at the end of the season.

Beginning today, he has declared an operation to take all points at home and manage respectable outcomes on the road.

Coach of Gold Stars, Stephen Frimpong Manso is hoping for a good day and a chance to at least pick a point from the game.

Accra Hearts of Oak would be at the Accra Sports Stadium today in an Accra derby against Accra Lions.

Five points separate the two sides with the Lions lying sixth while the Phobians are 11th on the log.

Aduana Stars would hope to return to winning ways when they take on Karela United at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park today.

Nsoatreman FC will face Bofoakwa Tano at the Nana Amoah Koronmansah Park in Nsoatreman on Monday while Medeama SC play Asante Kotoko at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa on Wednesday.

Accra Great Olympics will trek to the Nsenkyire Sports Arena in Samreboi to test the might of league leaders Samartex FC on Wednesday, May 1.

The game between CAF Confederation Cup campaigners Dreams FC and Real Tamale United has been rescheduled to allow for the former to honour their second-leg semifinal game with Zamalek tomorrow at the Baba Yara Stadium.
