Aggrieved minority Members of Parliament who petitioned the Council of Elders of the National Democratic Congress(NDC) about the recent reshuffle in leadership have thrown their weight behind their new leaders.

This follows a joint meeting yesterday with the party top-brass of the party, the Council of Elders, the National Executives and the Caucus at Parliament.

The petitioners, and had earlier raced concerns about the lack of consultation and disregard for the minority Caucus in Parliament.

The aggrieved MPs were represented by Cletus Avoka, MP for Zebilla East, Dominic Ayine, MP for Bolgatanga East, Mohammed Murtala, MP for Tamale Central, Zanetor Rawlings, MP for Kortey Korle, Alfred Oko Vanderpuije, MP for Ablekuma South, Collins Dauda, MP for Asutifi South, and Pru East MP Kwabena Donkor.

Speaking at the meeting, the petitioners said, when they earlier sent the petition to the board, it was made clear to them that it was neither about old leadership nor new one.
