2020 Elections: I will vote for an independent candidate – APlus

Musician and Political activist, Kwame Asare Obeng, affectionately called APlus has disclosed that he will vote for an independent candidate in the December 2020 elections.

According to him he does not care about the New Patriotic Party (NPP) and National Democratic Congress (NDC).

Speaking on TV3 New Day Berla Mundi, he said NPP and NDC are the same.

He added that both parties have failed the country, and for that reason, he will vote for independent candidates at both Presidential and Parliamentery levels.

According to APlus, he is yet to decide on the candidate to vote for, because they are yet to file their nomination.

This notwithstanding, APlus said other independent candidates who have expressed interest have engaged him and he is still on the look out.

APlus said his party, the People’s Project (TPP) movement currently has 535 branches and gaining momentum, adding, there would be a paradigm shift of the voting direction of Ghanaians after the December 2020 polls.

On whether TPP would be transformed into political party, he said it would depend on the membership of the movement.
