Felix Kwakye Fosu concedes defeat, congratulates NPP Candidate
Former Deputy Minister of Information Felix Kwakye Fosu, who stood on the ticket of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) for the Abura Asebu Kwamankese seat has conceded defeat.
Following, this has congratulated his contender, New Patriotic Party’s Elvis Morris Donkor, who beat him by 176 votes.
Felix Ofosu Kwakye polled 24,872 votes while the NPP’s candidate garnered 25,048.
In a post, he wrote, “It was so close yet so far for me.I lost by176votes.Congratulations Elvis Morris Donkor and better luck to me next time.”
“I am also deeply grateful to all of you out there who supported my bid in diverse ways,” he further thanked his constituents.
