Ghanaian gospel musician, Obaapa Christy has ventured into food business with the unveiling of her restaurant, Obaapa Essenlocated on the Odorkor-Mallam Highway

Speaking to The Spectator, Obaapa Christy said ‘Essen’ in German language means food adding that cooking has been her passion since her childhood.

She said taking her cooking to the next level makes her excited as she would continue to contribute to job creation and national development.

Obaapa also expressed appreciation to all those who have supported her to see her dream come to pass.

She noted that one of their core mission is to offer people the best of customer experience and as well project local food to the world.

Colleague artistes, CSP Kofi Sarpong, Jack Alolome,Bishop Joseph Atarah, Noble Nketia among the media personalities inthe industry graced the occasion to give her their support and wish the business well.

Obaapa Christy is expected to hold a concert on September 4, at the University of Professional Studies (UPSA)Accra, auditorium to mark her 20 years in music ministry.
