Patrons will have an awesome time at this year’s Women In Worship programme as organisers for the event have paraded top worshippers for an encounter with God.

Patrons of the event would be taken to another level of worship with Nigeria’s Victoria Orenze.

Congolese Gospel music dynamo, Deborah Lukalu would also have her turn on the big stage at this year’s Women In Worship.

This year’s event scheduled for September 25, 2022, will take place at the Oil Dome of the Royal House Chapel, near Obetsebi Lamptey Interchange, Accra.

Speaking to The Spectator, Georgina Nettey said the theme for this year’s programme was “the Holy Spirit Experience” and upon further deliberation they decided on artistes who would participate.

Touching on sponsorship for gospel events, she charged corporate Ghana to reconsider their stance and come to the gospel music space because the numbers and topnotch productions were the hallmark of gospel events.

She added that there was a venue change due to the overflow last year, “ the team decided to move to a spacious place to provide some comfort for patrons.”

Also, Mrs.Nettey revealed that there would be opportunities for emerging gospel artistes to be a blessing to the patrons.

The mini Women In Worship held at TV3 Executive Theatre last Friday to launch this this year’s event saw performance from Harriet Brobbey, Selassie Brown, Doreen Okyere and Priscilla Otumfuo.
