Work on the Teshie-Nungua road dualisation project seems to be progressing faster than anticipated and I wish to urge the contractors to carry on with the good job.

When I used the road recently, I noticed part of it was in good shape and used by motorists as construction of drains and culverts progressed steadily.

Except for the traffic congestion and inconvenience motorist experience, everything, in my view, was moving on as expected, and barring any eventualities I am confident the project could be completed ahead of schedule.

While I applaud those in charge of the project, I wish to encourage other road contractors elsewhere to also fast track work on the projects they have been assigned.

The government had declared 2021/2022 as ‘Year of Roads’ and if all contractors rise up to the task, that agenda could be attained for our common good.
