MTN Media Republic schooled on health, insurance

The MTN Media Republic, a group of media person­nel attached to the tele­communication company was on Friday, schooled on living healthy lifestyles, savings and investment.

Dubbed, MTN Media Republic Connect, the personnel were given insight on Blood Pressure (BP) insurance, investments and other relevant services including MTN Momo and aYo services.

It was themed ‘Our Health, Our Wealth, Our Future.’

In his presentation, a Medical Director at Acacia Medical Cen­ter, Dr Bright Sasu Baabu urged the media personnel to take their health seriously and engage in regular check-ups in order to know their health status.

On his part, the Deputy Manag­ing Director (MD) at Invest Corp Limited, Mr Kwabena Appeagyei also advised participants to take insurance policies to secure their future.

He said, it was important for workers to sign onto policies that would ensure that they had something to rely on and not depend on families after retire­ment.

On MTN Mobile Money (Momo,) Abdul Hakeem Rufai, a Senior Manager, Commercial Mobile Money Limited also urged the media to download the Momo App to experience the new features to make transactions easier.

The Head of Sales, Planning and Projects at aYo Insurance also spoke about the many opportunities available on the service and urged all to be part.

Senior Manager, Corporate Communications, Mrs Georgina Asare-Fiagbenu commended par­ticipants for their contributions adding that more of such events would be organised subsequent­ly to deepen the relationship between the two parties.
