Just as many expected, dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, delivered an electrifying performance at the 13th African Games closing ceremony last Saturday.

One of Africa’s most decorated dancehall artiste, Stonebwoy, who headlined the closing ceremony got the crowd on their feet with back-to- back hit songs and energetic stage craft.

Running through songs such as “Manodzi,” “Kpokeke,” “Higher,” “Activate,” “Therapy,” “Overlord,” “Bawasaba,” “Apotheke,” and “Into the Future,” he got the over 20,000 spectators singing along and ultimately creating a memorable experience, for those at the stadium and the millions that watched at home.

One of the biggest highlights of his performance was when he brought Nigerian artiste Odumodiblvck on stage to give the audience a taste of their unreleased single, ‘Ekelebe.’

Stonebwoy’s incredible performance once again solidified his position as one of the biggest African entertainers making huge mark on the global stage.

The success story of the just-ended 13th African Games cannot be told without appreciating the likes of Stonebwoy, Shatta Wale, King Promise, Pat Thomas and other entertainers for lightening up both the opening and closing ceremonies with their outstanding performances.
