‘Traffic stopper’ dog escapes for a second time

Dog who stopped traffic on Interstate 95 in Pennsylvania last week escaped from home a second time two days later and almost ended up on the same highway.

The dog, named Enzo, was brought to Town & Country Pet Care Centre on Friday after stopping traffic in the southbound lanes of I-95 in Philadelphia.

Enzo was reunited with his owner Friday night, but Town & Country Pet Care Centre officials said they learned the canine escaped for a second time on Sunday and was found running loose on State Road, next to I-95.

The officials said Enzo was again captured and safely returned home.

Enzo’s owner said they have scheduled an appointment to have the dog micro-chipped.
